About Diane Price L.Ac

I have been an Acupuncturist for 11 years and I love my work.
After graduating from College in Australia I found that my Arts degree has
trained me to be a researcher and writer, something that I did for a while
but found to be too solitary for a people person like myself. I trained to be a
massage therapist while I decided what I wanted to do with my life. As so
often happens Massage became my life. It has taken me on adventures to
different parts of the globe. It took me to Japan for 2 and a half years to
train and work as a Shiatsu practitioner and to places in the U.S.A and
Australia. Like many Acupuncturists I came to acupuncture first as a patient
when I found that it was able to help me manage a condition that at the time
conventional medicine had very little to offer.

I have worked as an Acupuncturist in the Southwest of the United States,
Australia, and for 6 years in Alaska. In Alaska I worked as Team Lead in an
integrated acupuncture clinic within the Alaska Native Medical Center for 3
years. There I was able to help design a model for acupuncture delivery
within a modern hospital. That experience showed me how fabulous the
results can be with acupuncture if a patient is able to get the treatment they
need because the treatment is affordable and they are able to get in on the
day that they need to.

I am Australian-born but last year proudly became an American too. This
country has been good to me and I would like to give back to it by providing
relevant, affordable treatment for conditions that
acupuncture uniquely treats well.

In my free time I am hiking, parenting, camping, dancing and cooking for my
friends: though not necessarily all at once!
